Is their any members in New Mexico?. Im starting my 63t swap, and would be cool if there are some other csm'rs here. Im in Rio Rancho. |

I've been to Taos NM, but when I woke up my second day there I was being arrested by every cop in town. They had us surrounded. Not sure I'll ever go back. |

wow thats a bummer!!! I moved here from Flushing NY. I havent had the best of luck with the cops in queens...but never got a ticket. *most just like to mess with you. (not all i know there are plenty of good cops) |

They just wanted money. I went and got them $350 cash from my bank account, and I was out on time to make the rafting trip on the Rio Grande. They said, "Pay this in cash now, or stay in NM for a week and you can go to court."  I had acidentally bumped into one of these ^ when we were leaving our campsite and dented it slightly. We didn't think it was a big deal, so we went down the street to eat breakfast at an organic cafe. That's where they blocked off the street and surrounded us. |

Thats crazy! you made a good choice! don't want to be in some rural area with cops like that. Plus they know people go to the mesas and mountains and cook up a lot of stuff* "so officer please don't arrest me  "
