Hi there guys , my name is Scott. I recently bought a C53A GSR. The timing belt was broken so I will fit my spare 4g63t I have. I am along time Mitsubishi fan and also own 2 1990 VR4's. I plan for the GSR to be my new daily drive.

I will update you on my rides and get some pics posted .

Welcome. It has been a while since we've had many frequent AUS/OZ visitors. There are quite a few members here, but it was a few years ago when the AUS and NZ crowd also had their websites running congruent with ours. AUS still has one: www.gsrcyborgclub.com NZ does not anymore, as the site owner moved on to other things. Bunch of great guys down under!

Yeah poor 1.6 will be removed. I got this car very cheap. I have a spare 4g63 out of a vr4 that will be going I after I fit a new water pump, tensioner and belts. I might just try bolt the motor turbo less as I am looking for a few parts . Hopefully the exhaust will reach the 4g63 head. Once it running I can bring the car back home and start fitting the intercooller and piping . I want this car to look factory at first glance.

Updates will continue.
Thanks for the replies guys.
