Higher than that really, having more power means you don't have to rev the engine to get going. I used to fill up the tank and it would last about 2 weeks of commuting/errand running. It's a lot less if you like to beat on it but that's the price you pay for the fun. |

I would bet double that with a good tune and your foot out of it. A close friend of mine gets close to 30 highway in his wife's 2g awd and that thing is a pig with leather and a/c and its a 12 sec car. |

My friend Rob (riceless90 on this site) rolled with us to the shootout this past August. He got 34mpg. He is running a 16g, 660's and 18psi on his colt. |

For suspension some kyb gr-2 shocks and struts are a start. There $142 for all 4 from tire rack. Then you can get some B&G lowering springs for a 1989 mirage. It will lower it about 2 inches and it rides amazing. Thats what I had on my colt before I put ksport coilovers on it. Plus you dont have to cut any springs. Stock springs next to B&G lowering springs Heres my colt with the suspension setup and stock wheels. I have since upgraded wheels and lots of other things. |

Thanks Coltdriver92, I'll most likely get that exact set up, I don't wanna be spending too much. Would it ever be possible to find used b&g springs, or should I just save for them? Mirage, exactly how I want mine How much were you selling those trim pieces for? And are they black? IM me. |

B&G springs are not expensive, they are rather inexpensive and work well. I have a set on my car, 1.6" drop is more like 2.0" with the grey/silver CSM FWD GR2's. I slightly tuck a set of 195/65/14" tires on the factory aluminum rims. |

Sweet, Eagle. Yeah I'll most likely be getting a set and if I did, I'd just get the GR2s. If wouldn't interfere with my 195/50/15 tires on 15" rims would they? |

Very very nice Coltdriver. Once I get some money, that'll def be one of my next projects. Anything to really look out for? Or just a bolt in, haven't done much suspension in my young years lol. Thanks |

The factory KYB grey replacement struts for a C52/53a Colt Mirage 200 are all the same, just cannot remember if the sedan had any differences in the rear or not. Order a set of 1989-92 Mirage/Colt 200 struts and order a set of springs under that year and model and you will be set. Post a link if you find a set and see what the members here say, just in case. Peace of mind thing! |

The sedan uses the same rear struts. The 5 door van, however, has an entirely different rear suspension from any CSM. |
