| Magna Piscator...call me Matt...I work in law enforcement, own a company making fishing gear. Really Really want another fast car. I drove a 1994 GSX for years and years, 2 kids came along and I needed the extra room, so the GSX had to go. Now....I have a line on a CSM and hope to make a durable mild AWD street driver/weekend corner carver intent on making others uncomfortable. Im currently in the process of reading every word of every thread here. Bad or good....Knowledge is power. | |

| Welcome! You will find tons of information in the archives, as best we could sort and merge it. Any questions, just ask around. Some members are versed better in certain aspects like AWD conversion, suspension tuning, engine management, etc etc. Ask the right questions after having a look around and their are many members here to help in this regard. Enjoy your time here, we have a great forum if I do say so myself. Tim Eagles aka Flying Eagle | |

| Thank you, I love the idea of the AWD having had one and dearly loved it. That being said, I will see how it goes, I have already been reading about elantra disks on the rear of a FWD this solving the tiny drum problem. anyway....reading reading...project will evolve!! Now to get the 2 dr hatch shell home. | |

| Welcome! you will definetly find a vast amount of knowledge on here. I was a guy who was on here years ago, tinkered with the colt's, had a few turbo versions, disappeared for 5+ years and came back, (bought a 2G talon when I got back into it) but the amount of threads and useful info that has been added since then is amazing as well. Now I'm back twice as hard with my old colt.. Good luck with the purchase! | |

| I have stayed connected to the community here and there, my younger brother raced a 4g63t powered 93 colt 4 dr in the pacific northwest for a few seasons. the car started as a commuter and ended up a methanol fueled tube framed beast that was pretty well known here in the portland oregon area. my nephew now has kept the torch burning and is into the DSM scene. Im looking forward to the project, its gonna be a slow process I am sure. | |

| Quote: Vancouver Washington...I'll go figure out how to add that to my sig.Click on "user control panel", then click on "profile", and there is a spot to add your location. Welcome to the forum, or welcome back, or whatever. Haha. If you have any pics of your previous rides, post it up! My first DSM was a '94 TSi AWD. That was my baby! | |
