I just thought I would introduce myself. I do not own a Colt or Summit quite yet, but if things work out I will have a running Summit by the end of summer. In case any of you are curious, I am a tad bit familiar with DSMs, so the change up shouldn't be too great. Here are a few pictures of my current cars.

'99 GS-T. It has a 2.5inch exhaust I believe. Other than that, it is stock. The only future plans I have for it is an EPROM ECU/ECMLink to get rid of the occasional running lean because of not having a cat.

'95 TSi AWD Auto. This has been my current project for the last year or two. My dad and I have completely repainted it and done minor maintenance as well. Future plans have varied from just making it what I call "road worthy" to a fully built 2.3 stroker. As you can tell it really hasn't gone far. The only for certain future plans are a interior color swap which I have already started, and some Evo.8 Enkeis.

Biggest mistake ever buying: '91 TSi AWD shell. The name speaks for itself. HOPFEULLY this car will become a donor for a possible AWD swap. :D

I hope to learn a few things here that will help contribute to my knowledge of all these cars. I will keep everyone updated as far as getting this Summit goes. I believe the car will be one mean sleeper!

Thanks for looking guys. Any questions for me, just post 'em up!

Welcome to the forum! :P But, if you can add in the MN to your user control panel for your location, that would be cool.If your looking for a good platform to start with, try to hunt down a mirage/colt turbo when you get to that point.

why was the 91 the biggest mistake ever? I would take it over the other 2 any day.. I personally hate the look of 2g's and i think they are very un comfortable to sit in.

cant wait till you get a csm they are so much fun.

I overpaid for the 1g. I have since lost the number to the original owner who still owes me parts. Believe me, I could use all of the parts he owes me to make my money back. None the less though, it will be a good partial donor car.

Yeah. It was some kind of an impulse buy, lol. But it is turning out to be a good thing. It sure is going to be fun tracking him/his cell number down.

I also might add I love 1gs looks. Maybe not over 2gs, but each on their own level I suppose. I mean, I bought a 1g, didn't I? Hahaha
