Wow, you have been a silent trooper all this time. Sorry to hear about all the health issues, stress is a major drawback to life as a human; so I wish you all the un-stress you can take!
Hope the doctors can figure out the stomach issue, and that they are genuine with everything they do. Can't imagine anyone wanting to pass over a proper treatment to a guy that translates so well over the internet, and I bet you are 100% like your intarweeb self in real life as well. Prayers I do have, go out for genuine people like you Chris. Stay safe and know that we are thinking of you and the family.

Feeling a little better today and I was finally able to get in touch with one of the nurses at the gastro. They were able to move my appointment up to tomorrow at 2:45 so that will help a lot. Had a little scare last night, woke up all shaky and my blood sugar was 70 which really isn't low. We were scared yet again so my wife called 911 and I took yet another trip to the ER but this time on an ambulance. I drunk some gatorade while waiting and was able to get my blood sugar up to 90 and some of the shakiness and dizziness went away but they took me in anyway just to be sure. While there I talked to a really cool Doc that printed out a ton of info for us and was really helpful in general. He released me a few hours later and said he's pretty sure the problems were due to low blood sugar.

I do appreciate everything and all of the support. You guys don't know what all this means to me, really. I'm feeling better today and I know all of the prayers are working. Not sure what God has in store for me but honestly something like this changes the way you look at everything. I will update this with whatever I find out tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Not dead yet! Hope they figure it out for ya. Can they do a gastric bypass to basically get around the stomach issues?

I'm sure I will find out more today at my appointment but as far as I know the pain/nausea is coming from food that's just sitting in my digestive track since the muscles can't push it down. Since I've been eating soft foods and liquids lately the pain is down a lot. I think once I can get the imflammation down and start eating stuff that's easier to digest most of my symptoms will go away. I was able to talk to anpther csm'er over on mirage forums that just so happened to also have this dreaded disease and he answered a ton of my questions. He basically said (well in his case anyway) that once the blood sugars are normal for a while the body starts healing and reacting better. This and eating the right things.

I'll keep you all posted.

Chris, I just read all of this today... hope you are feeling better soon. You're a good guy, and sometimes bad things happen to even the good guys. I'm going to pray for you, buddy!

Thanks Brian! I am feeling better but feel I still have quite a ways to go. I am eating regular food but very little and my stomach is still giving me problems. I'm praying to be healed man, that's what keeps me going. Honestly this has pretty much changed my life, I am constantly reading the Bible and asking for a miracle. Something that I should have been doing for the last few years instead of ignoring my problems and trusting everything the doctors were telling me.

I ask everyone that prays to please say an extra one for your old buddy Chris 8) .

So are you back home now? I'll pm you my #, give me a ring sometime if you're not busy.

Better yet, my # is (252)299-2375 if anybody wants to call. For those that don't know my name is Chris.
