Hey guys, long time DSM owner but new to the boards. I haven't had anything 4G63 related for 3 years now but I knew I'd be back eventually. I regrettably sold my 95 TSI AWD and 98 AWD GSX.

I'm beginning my full AWD build plans and sourcing parts. I am as OCD about putting a car together as Chris (89mirageman) is so I expect this to be an ongoing project for a couple of years.

A little about me... I surf as much as I can and I'm an Engineering Project Manager at an automotive engineering services firm. We have a 30 year racing heritage in SCCA rally, Baja 1000, Reno to Vegas, and Pike's Peak hill climb vehicles. In the past 15 years we have become specialists in active suspension systems, Hybrid and EV technology for commercial and military vehicles. Side projects for us are concept and SEMA show cars.

Welcome! You picked a great site to join. We're a small group but there is a lot of experience floating around so if you get in a bind just ask and I'm sure someone will be able to help. Sounds like you may be able to offer us some help as well. If you have a csm already be sure to start a build thread or at least toss some pics up.

I don't have a chassis yet. Nothing has met my standards so far. I am beginning to put my suspension together though so that I can get the body in white done before I finalize my motor/turbo plans. I'm set on a GT3071R and I'll be running a TiAL housing, Synapse Engineering wastegate and BOV but I'm not sure on if I'm going to go with and Air/Air intercooler or a water to air setup.
