Just purchased this car from ScottP at AMS. Its setup for an Autommatic 1G motor with an EVO 1 rear end and subframe. I bought that 5G and was gonna do an EVO engine in it, but then I found this for sale and Ive always liked the car so I sold my Eagle Talon and picked this up. Im thinking Im gonna covert this car to manual and build some mounts for an EVO 4-6 style engine. Well see what happens.

why use a evo 4-6 motor? 2g head on a 6 bolt is just as strong and has all the same properties. and +1 to keeping it auto :supz:

EVO head is far superior, cam selection is better, Tranny and Tranfercase are 100% better.

I work on alot of EVOs now and I have alot of spare EVO parts. An EVO tranny will shift at 10K bone stock, and its only $1200 to build one.

I would also like to do more than just drag racing with it. Its also sitting on Cusco Coilovers and he is throwing in some strut bars.

My original plan was to build a FWD 5G drag car with EVO motor, but I know it will just sit there and collect dust like my 89 does. I feel the auto will do the same thing because it will only be good for one thing and thats straite line drag racing. I know I will have more fun with the car if I can drive it more and do more things with it. It will at least make me feel like I dont have a money pit thats very little fun.

We saw this car at the Mitsu vs Subie shootout last year. I'm sure you will have some fun with it. Can't wait to see what changes you make.

I can't wait to see what you do with this car Trev. I'm actually glad this car went to someone capable of continuing its "badassness".

Accually now I have a car that doesnt run.

Paid $3500 for it. Saved me alot of work and I think I still would have spent more building that chassis.

Missing the Engine, trans, wheels, seat and the wideband.

Im still gonna try and get a good pass in my 89 before I take it apart. Its a solid 615whp the way it sits so its pretty damn peppy.
