Finally got the crappy ball joint replaced, so I could get an alignment, so I could mount my new (to me) wheels and tires. Went from really old/worn 195/50-15s on 15x6" to 225/50-15 on 15x7. Now I just gotta roll the rear fenders so the driver's side won't scrape, and I'll be good to go. Total cost of wheels and tires: $200.

Those wheels look nice on there, but I'm not feeling the color. Don't paint them black either, that shit is gay.

LOL! Yeah, I'm over the whole black w/polished lip thing. I'm not sure what I'm going to eventually do to them. I'll eventually paint the car...and that's when I'll decide how the wheels will end up. For now, I really don't care how crappy they look...I mean, the whole car looks like shit, so who cares! The only thing I'm going to do in the meantime is repaint the rusty fender, paint the front bumper, and roll the rear fenders.

I think they would look great all polished up and shiny without the gold accents or whatever that is going on there.

A new paint job is worth a thousand words....or is it a picture? Anyways, I'm trying to feel you on the bumper...maybe it's the bumper's color throwing me off. Most important thing is taking care of those damn ball joints, cause that's straight dangerous when they give out!!!

Yeah, I think the car will look a billion times better painted (duh).

I just rolled the rear fenders, too. The driver's side rear fender had been damaged years ago, and was cutting into the tire like crazy. With the fender roller, I rolled the crap out of it, and pulled it a little (basically getting it back to where it should have been in the first place), and now I'm not rubbing at all. It's awesome. I have a couple more things I need to address, but I'm getting REALLY close to being able to autoX and/or track the car.
