Finally in the group. I got a 89 Colt GT. It is rough but enough to start with.

It is stripped, so I bought a 91 GL that is in great shape, except for the front bump.

This car even has a good package tray.

I am going to compete the interior swap then add the 4G63T, Eprom, B16G and AWD trans.

Never had that problem. Just take the center diff apart and put in a welded VC. The GVR4 trans has a taller 1st gear. It is a little harder to spin and gives you about 5 mph more in 1st.

been there.. done that a few times.. lol. my last car with a e3 16g would spin in 4th a bit on 25-26psi with a AWD trans. Not saying he cant do it and have fun.. they just spin sooo much more then a 1g FWD trans

Donor car engine pulled so I can get to all the items I need to swap to the GT.

So, the CSM spins a lot more than the DSM's?

Pulled the trashed, cracked all to pieces dash out of the GT. Everything under the dash has been trashed out by some that made it a drag car. Even the hood pull cable has been cut off.

Ready to start putting the donor stuff back in.
