Very nice! I'm good friends with Albert (the guy who runs DV/DT), we grew up together. His parts are awesome. Did you by any chance by that car from a dude named Kevin?

Only reason I ask, I knew a guy named Kevin that had a 2g Talon that he was building up using a lot of Albert's parts, so I was wondering if it was the same car. The dude was in Illinois too. Got any exterior shots of the car?

Until he gets some numbers out of it, it's just another clean 2g with a lot of go-fast parts on it...

lol u guys are crazy if u dont think it can't do it. I on the other hand do not have the extra cash laying around to completly build the motor the way I want it to have . I would like to sale the hole 2.3 setup if anyone is intrested. I am a 2.0 guy. it also has a built 2g head. From what I was told the 2g heads are better at helping with spool up. I desided I am going to use some stock mitsu parts I had for now. 1g rods with t he evo 9 pistons had the rods honed for 22mm wrist pin all arp in the motor. I think I would like to try to take this block to 60awhp. I belive it would be somthing that has not been done atleast yet. I know there is a couple of guys dynoed high 570whp or so but they had there cars in fwd mode. I think the forged 8.8:1 evo 9 pistons will help this out.

Tyler,
Never said you couldn't do it. Honestly though, having a set up like that without a built motor is a complete waste if you ask me. I'm a 2.0 guy also, although a long-rod 2.4 is a pretty bad-ass setup also, I would never run a 2.3 stroker ever. You're gonna want to run a LOT of boost to take advantage of a turbo like that, and you simply can't do that on stock rods without seriously risking things. It might work for a while, but if you make one mistake with your tuning it's game over. Build it once, build it right, be done with it.
