Can you get me an entry for the registry? http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 30&start=0
All turbo cars should have a "Z" for the 8th digit, they aren't originals otherwise. Was this car owned by another member here recently, as I may already have it listed and just have to transfer your name and location into the entry.
Ah ha, learn something new every day. I went and checked the VIN on the body, sure enough there is a Z in the 8th Digit. ;)

That car is coming along nicely, very good looking too.

How are you guys putting on these steering wheels, what hub are you guys using and does the horn still work?

For Grant steering wheels, you can buy the adapter hub for a CSM and steering wheel at any Advanced Auto Parts.

Everything is put together and ready to run, I'm just waiting on a turbo feed line fitting, a radiator fan and a BOV flange.
Also while testing the fuel pumps today the A1000 started leaking out of the positive power terminal, any ideas?

leaking gas? out of the positive terminal?.,.if so is it new..and if yes send it back for a new one...if its old the seal might be bad.. i have 1 with less than 400 miles on it im thinking of selling (just in case urs is bad and not under warranty)..

also make sure its not from the fitting and looks like its from the power connection.

definatly dont want that bad boy to go boom.

It is definitely coming from the power terminal. The pump is a used unit but never leaked on my buddies car. I'm thinking after it sitting so long that maybe the seals just dried up. I am thinking I will just have to pull it apart.

I pulled it off this morning and disassembled it, looks like both seals on the terminals are rock hard. I replaced them and I am reassembling it now. Hopefully that was the issue.
