Hi guys my name is Rick Vieira.I live in Sekonk Mass and I just recently purchased a 1989 Mitsubishi Mirage (4G61t)
I bought it off a neighbor that had it sitting with a blown head I paid 600 for it. I decided to pull the motor mind you I have never worked on a car except for brakes on past cars and a few alternators. I decided to go cheap so I went to ebay and started buying parts next thing you know there goes my tax return and a 4 month mission lol.

engine mods: jdm ss exaust manifold, 4G63 head and cams,3'GM maf, translator pro other than that pretty much stock just a ring job.

Weclome to the site. Thats a nice looking car you have there. You should get urself a Front mount intercooler. It would keep ur air intake temps down.

I love the black ones, you started off like me, but I paid 800 for one with a blown bottom end. It'll tech you how to become a pro mechanic pretty quick. The side mounts aren't that hard, once you get the bumper cover off you'll figure it out pretty easily, I managed to do mine pretty hammered, search around and you'll find some write ups on it. And welcome to the CSM world, good luck ever leaving

-John

People think I'm crazy. Everytime I pull up somewhere I always pop my hood to check for leaks or any new noises lol mostly to look at my pretty engine haha. this thing is an addiction.. better that than drugs I guess..
