What does a 1G awd dp do interns of positioning within the tunnel?

hmm. mine will have a 3" o2 housing, i wish the down pipe was 3" all the way through.

The 1g dp is straight whereas the 2g has the kink. If you're doing the awd swap you'll want the fwd dp to position the exhaust next to the driveshaft. Otherwise I suggest the 2g so be able to tuck the exhaust into the tunnel.

I will be doing a cut out very soon as well. Did you get the flanges welded on, or did it come with the down pipe flanges already attached? all the cut outs I found are just bare, I dont have a problem doing the extra work but just would like to know.

The Y pipe that came with the cutout had a flange for the cutout but it was welded on at the wrong position so I cut it off and had a new flange welded on in the correct position. The other flange (the one that bolts to the dp) is from RRE I think, the cutout didn't come with it, had to buy it separate ($15 a piece, I bought 2, used 1). The other end that goes to the glasspack is just a slip fit connector with slots cut into it to allow it to actually clamp onto the pipes with exhaust clamps (U bolts).
