love your car, so clean! you got plenty of room to put the maft in "blow through", then you could put the BOV just before it on the cold pipe.

Which brings up a question I've been meaning to ask. Most of the pictures that I've seen on these cars show the maf right before the throttle body instead of on the intake of the turbo. Which is correct? Most of the other cars I've built have had the maf where mine is. What do you guys recommend? Are there any advantages to having it "blow through"?

"blow through" just means its running after the the turbo inline with the IC pipe. 2 advantages are that you can run your bov to the atmosphere and if you ever blow one of you ic pipes off before the maft your car will keep running.

It also allows you to have a totally unrestricted intake tract, which is nice.

Sounds like good reasons to switch it to blow through. Thanks!

Haha yep, I saw that your a mod on here Steve. I picked it up on craigslist, the guy was a member on here as well (knbtsi). I took a break from cars for a while after i sold my Galant, but had the itch for the past 6 months or so just couldnt find a nice DSM, then i came accross this colt. It needs a few things here and there but overall its a solid car and im having a ton of fun with it.

I also moved up to phoenix about 6 months ago, but i try to make it down to Tucson about every other weekend. We should go out cruising sometime like old days lol. Hows your colt coming along steve?
