Found this grill on ebay, and took a chance, it arrived today. It will go with the AWD swap....

Before I noticed the AWD badge I would have said that exactly like a normal Mirage Turbo grill. The badge is a nice touch.

Mirage grills have the chrome flash at the top of which I am not a fan, so to see a slat type grill that is much thinner than my Colt piece (my current favourite when not overpainted between the slats, at the base), is quite rare on these shores. You sir, have a very original part to sport with pride now!

Thanks, The JDM pill keeps growing. I know have--front bumper (fiberglass replica), 3-pc top wing, 3-pc mid wing, white face 180km turbo gauge cluster, amber & clear turn signal lenses, AWD grill, Amber side markers on the fender. And I would of had a pair of yellow headlights if I would have went $5.00 more....

The grill on my Mirage looks identical to his, minus the AWD badge. No chrome. I hate the chrome grills too. :vom:

Tonus, is that a factory mitsu grill for a turbo mirage?? Just curious, cause I didn't have a grill when I got my mirage, but I found one just like yours at a junkyard....in great shape, too!

It's the grill that came on my car when I bought it, I have to assume it's original.

I think this goes to show that turbo cars did not get special grills.

So that begs the question as to know, which model the Chrome grills did arrive on?

Maybe it was an option from the factory, and didn't it also come on 4-door 89-92 Mirages?
