Hi people,

my name is Christian and i come from Germany. I'm borne in 1982 and i like my colt(you say Mirage-Hatchback?). My colt is a '89 Colt GTI. :D
I think my english isn't so good :( , so i say SORRY at this place
Nearly 5 Years ago i buy my GTI. Before i buy this, i ride a 1.5 12V Colt '90.
But than i think, the GTI is to slow....
So i update him with some Parts of a 4G67, 4G63 and some other universal parts.
He had a 4G67 Zylinder-head and Fuel-injektors, a 4G63 intake-bridge(i dont know the correkt word) and a seriall DSM 2G exhaust(the first part behind zylinder-head?). Middel-silencer is a V2A-60mm pipe(without silencer) and the end-silencer is the last product Sebring-Sport-exhaust.
Also inside is a SAFC-NEO and a fuel-pressure-regulator. The engine is complete rebuildet in 2007.
Wheels are OZ 16" with 215/40 tyers.
But now, i think he is also to slow. And now i want to update him with a turbo-charger. No very big one, just a orginal of a Mirage GT. So i hope you can help me with it. This is why i'm here....

So long...

Wilkommen bui uns! I sprache nur ein bisschen Deutche, und es ist nicht so gut. Wir sind eine Familie heir.

We say intake manifold (intake-bridge) and so with the other side it is called exhaust manifold.
What engine does your friend have? 1.6 liter, dual overhead cam?

Anyone want to tell him what he will run into turbocharging his car? Looks like he has fuel management under control. I'm not sure about what cc his 4g67 injectors are running, or if that would be a problem.

I've never turbocharged a non-turbo vehicle, but I do know that you need fuel control.

Hi,

a looooong time ago i write my last post here. Some things in my life and on my car changed, but not everything. I only want so write, whitch parts are changed on the car.
A big Problem was the fuel.
Now a Fuelpump of a EVO X is insight, injektors are 350cc of a automatic DSM.
The intake-manifold is a Cyclone that works great.
The cat is changed to a 200cell metal-type.
Breakes (i want bigger than stock) are 276mm with doublestroke of an EVO3. Very great and no fading on the hardest racecirkuit, the northloop.
The ECU is at first a stock DSM GST(4G63T).

These are the News....

Welcome back! It certainly has been a long time. :^D

Did you install a turbocharger on that car? You should post pictures here.
