Hey man, congrats on the little girl! I'm due for a little boy here in June around the 18th. How's she treating you?

Looks like Fedex dropped a small refrigerator on your intercooler.

And serious grats on your new addition. Very cute little one, must take after mom!

Well small update...kind of.
Came back from vacation in early June and found I would be losing my job at the end of the year. After figuring out a plan with the two women I work with, we have worked out a way to keep our jobs (they were going to lose their jobs too). So now I'm still doing the same job, but contracted out at the same pay rate! Hooray!
BUT...When I found I was losing my job, I sold all my Evo stuff. Now that I'm keeping my job, I decided to buy another engine. Bought it from the guy I'm sold my Evo engine to.
It's a 4g93T dohc, rated at about 200hp. So on with the pics. And no more Evo look. Doing a modded front bumper with a lip (pics below), side skirts and rear bumper with lip. Then CF Evo hood and trunk lid.

Started work on the front bumper the other day. I think I pretty much have everything cut out. Now is time for the fiberglass and small amounts of bondo for patching up some of the holes/chunks missing.

This is going on the bumper...some how.

This is why I sold my rear disc conversion (Evo III rear trailing arms..they work on 5th gens!).

These two things make me feel all tingly in my pants!

Bored at work, so here is an update!

My buddy came over awhile back and helped a bit. He got all of the AC stuff out of the engine bay, and got pretty much all of harness out from the bay. I worked on the dash and he also worked on the rear of the car. He tried to get the rear trailing arm stuff so we could get the other stuff on. But he got stuck at one bolt.
So now, I just have to finish taking the harness out of the bay. It's stuck behind the hard brake lines. Not sure how to get around that. Then I'll get the harness running into the driver side in the car. Once the bay is cleared up, I'm going to give it a good wipe down.
I also have to get the half shafts out. I didn't loosen the nuts before taking them out of the transmission. So now I'm having a problem getting them out. #-o
Then it will pretty much be ready for the engine and transmission to drop in.
Then I'll finish up the back.
Slowly but surely, it's getting there.

Good to see you still at work in both senses. Carry on and finish this one and whatever happens after that, well, at least you can say you finished one like me and then you can sell it. Hehe

Thanks!

Funny you mention selling it. I keep thinking maybe after I finish it I'll sell it for a GVR4.
Or maybe I'll just keep this and go buy a GVR4.
