Well... I was told all I needed to do was install the FMIC plumbing and the exhaust and I would have a 380whp monster.

When the keys were put in my hand I was left with "Remember, you don't buy a Colt...You build a Colt." and the project was off. For the past 3 days my friends and I have been working on this car non-stop. Even had to call off work, lol.

Anyways, here are the pics. The body is straight as an arrow and rust free. However the previous owner had a kinda ghetto setup going on so we had to just kinda....make some stuff work. Drove it today for the first time with the wastegate totally put on wrong and made 8lbs of boost and I was shocked by how easy the car was barking gears (3rd). We finished the wastegate and are ready to test drive it tomorrow again, hoping for some major progress and to see the 15lbs that the car is supposed to be making.

Car has...

Audi TT dash
30-0-30 boost guage
narrowband (garbage)
50 trim
ACT 2600
38mm wastegate
fmic
battery relocated to trunk (for engine room, not for weight distribution lol)
660cc injectors
safc-ii
kn filter

blah blah, you get the idea.

thanks a lot man. im sure this colt's been on here before. it doesn't look like too much fab work went into the dash looks like it was just hacked and strapped up there...literally. it's not the cleanest job but it's far far from the worst. It's actually up there pretty stirdy. I laugh my ass off when I grab gears though, the whole car just kinda jerks and the dash goes with it. =P!

Eek. I hear that interior paint works really good, just make sure you clean up what your painting very very well before you try it.

Thanks a lot man. I def need some help with this little guy. The car runs way too rich and I'm maxing out the AFC. I'm almost postive that 660cc injectors are too big. JP's trying to find me a 2g MAF which is REALLY restricting me right now (using a 1g maf) and plus I'm kinda eager to knock off this 15lb BS and start running some real boost aka (22ish)
