Hey guys.
I recently registered to this forum and I'm already liking it a lot 8)
I'm from northern Europe, Sweden to be exact.
My ride is a '89 colt with the standard 4g15 engine. Basically, the whole car is original, except for the frontspoiler from a GTI that I recently installed. New 16" rims this week. I'm not sure about my future plans, but I sure will keep using this great forum. (the best forum for colt's that I've come across so far).

A thing that I noticed, is that the colt/mirage seems to have been made by different manufacturers. In Sweden they were made by Mitsubishi and as I've heard, it's Dodge in the US.
And also, what does DSM mean?

Cheers!

Welcome! You should post up some pics of your ride. We have Mitsubishi's too, its called the Mirage. The Summits and Colts are still made by Mitsu but they are badged as Eagles and Dodges.

DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors. Its a plant here in the states where all of our turbo eclipses were made.

Welcome to the forum! Please put your location in your profile so it shows below your name.

DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors, which are built here in the US. The Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser are DSM's.

Welcome to the site. I'd love to see some pics of your car. Everyone on this forum goes above and beyond to help you out on here and i've never had a problem with someone being a jerk. By the way, DSM's have 4g63t's in them and come in fwd and awd form.

Not all DSM's are turbo, big guy.

The 1.8 and 2.0 N/T cars are still built in the same place...

Thanks guys.

Yeah pictures will come next week when I get my camera back.
Atm I can only take crappy cellphone picutures.

And also, I should mention. This is my first car and I've owned it since October last year, and I'm very satisfied with it.

Hey guys, thanks a lot :D

Yesterday I got my new rims on, but unfortunately I don't have my camera around, so I took a picture with my cellphone instead. I promise I'll get you guys some real pictures this week.

Wow, very clean car. I like the rims a lot. My only advice would be to lower it a little bit.
