I have been putting off posting in this section but tonight seemed like the night.

I bought my mirage off a friend of mine who bought the car in extremely great condition back in 2000. At that time it was a completely unmolested 1.5 automatic. It had like 70K.

He then swapped it and converted it to manual then began fabricating his own body style. It worked for a while.

I picked this car up from him for 400 bucks plus a non running toyota paseo. since buying it I have put another 2200 in it. I am now getting my head together with a plan.

First the body will be completely redone. The previous owner custom fit a ninja kit which is for a acura integra 94-2001. I am ditching this kit for the jdm mirage kit. I also ditched the horrible wing and taillight fabrication and am now prepping for the new body kit I will be ordering in about a month. I am getting some awesome black wheels which has furthered my decision to paint the car white. factory turbo wing and mid-wing.

Second. We will begin prepping for the new engine to be dropped in. all new hoses and everything will be ran. 550 injectors with an FPR. stock 14b turbo. front mount intercooler.

third. interior will be renewed. All new dash. possible evo9 seats. new door panels. battery will stay located in the hatch.

forth. stereo system. remote start system. two tens in the back where the rear seats used to be made to fit in a custom installed bracket to even out the overall weight of the car.

I am taking on alot and will probly have over $7K in this upon completion but it will be all worth it.

after I grow sick of the stock set up I will move up to a 16g and eventually possibly convert to the AWD set-up.

Lost I am really set on that kit from blossom you and I were talking about. I sent them an email about it today. I have some other parts to buy off you and a couple others on the forum before I comment to the kit.

Bro, that kit is wild. The car looks so riced out it isn't even funny. I like the idea of your plan much better. Keep us updated.

Theres no way I'd junk that car. All it needs is a little TLC. Why should he junk a straight, rust free shell just because someone tossed on some bumpers? Tow that thing to Wilson and we'll give it an extreme makeover.

If Ashe moves to Chapel Hill like he is talking about that will be arranged.
