Well, after waiting an entire month for the weather to chill out, I finally had a break to get the wheel assembly put back together and have the car towed 30 miles to the house.

Time to back her into the shop and rip out the transmission!! :D

Thanks to everyone here for the motivation, inspiration, and willingness to help each other. I dedicate this home-coming to the board!!!!

Looks cleaner than the first two GT's I've owned, but you got a turbo car!
White is the fastest color.
Silver is the car you can't quite put a name to when it shotguns by you at speed on a sunny day.
Black is the color of the Stealthy hunter that you never knew would woop you at a roll.
Red is the color you see when the AWD takes you from a dig.
I think that sums it up nicely.
Those are all clues to members cars here for anyone that didnt' already know. 8)

Glad to see Incoltnito getting his feet wet with his new ride. I'll be the first to wish him luck with his build up. I'm sure we can lend a helping hand like we have been, even if it's by electronic means (UntarWEb OONes Jue).

Holy Cow that's clean! All it needs is a good wheel polish and some tire shine! Great little car, hope you got a good deal on it.

Thanks, y'all!

The car has just been sitting for almost a year. It took two hours of scrubbing and vacuuming to get it looking like that...hehehehe....didn't scrub the wheels though.

I spent $1,200 fake-federal paper notes on the car. The engine is not in running condition, however it was replaced last year with a JDM low-mile. I'm ripping the transmission back off, firstly, to find out why I don't have push-back on the clutch release fork. Then it's off to getting everything reassembled, and find out which parts (electrically) are dead from sitting underneath snow all year long (like the MAF). It should be interesting, to say the least.
-----

Many years ago, I saw a Dodge Colt Gt around my area. I thought to myself "that car must be a blast to drive." I had a friend with a base Colt which had problems that couldn't be fixed.....hehheeh....it was most likely the ECU, ya know? Anyways, I got to drive the base Colt and decided to put it "on my list" of cars that I must own someday.

It was back on my birthday last October, I purchased a clean 92' Colt....and because it was having problems, I began searching widely across the internet until I fell upon this Board. Got that car running right ahead, thanks to those here who helped! Now, finding a real C53 wasn't something I imagined would ever happen......but when I saw the ad here for one locally, I knew the car would belong to me. :D
