Well my buddy had a nice Black 1990 Talon Tsi AWD 5-speed and he blew the timing belt and bent all the valves.. ( so i think, compression is 30, 0 , 5, 0) lol.... damn interferance engines... anyways it was time as the block had 260 000 k on it and had destroyed a head and valves before....... Good thing i have two spare 6 bolts sitting in my basement ![]() so anyways i offered him $500 for the car and it was sold... He had a bunch of new parts he bought for it but never installed so i gave him another $300 for all the parts. The car has a worn 2nd gear syncro in the tranny and maybe a bad carrier berring in the driveline somewhere. i also have two AWD trannys in good shape and two full rear ends/suspsion (one 4 bolt, one 3 bolt) so i have crap loads of parts to throw at this car. Heres the mod list and part list i got with the car. -3.5 GM mas air flow meter (no translator yet) -Huge ass Front mount intercooler and 2.5" stainless piping (installed) -brand new still in boxes Powerslot front rotors -Greddy type S BOV (new still in box) -Walbro 255 HP fuel pump (installed) -MBC (ebay) -installed -Evo3 exhuast manifold (installed) -external engine oil cooler -brand new radiator (installed) -new JVC speakers -front clear corners -1993 talon tsi rear end swap (bumper, tailights) -K&N filter -Brand new still in box stage 3 6 puck clutch -front and rear strut tower braces (installed) -new alpine alarm -power windows, locks -sunroof -leather interior -autometer boost (30psi and vac) and air/fuel meter with 2 pod pillar. (installed) Im pretty excited right now.... i cant believe i got the car so cheap. Anyways as some of you might know i have a 4g63t colt that i was planning on installing (fabricating) the AWD system into with my basement DSM junkyard. Well now that i have a awd talon i dont really see the point.. and its a crap load of work anyways and a lot of money for the fabrication. So the money will be spent on engine mods for both cars.... I will get pics up of the AWD talon asap. The 92-94 rear end with the 90-91 style front end looks pretty cool. |

I would be tempted to get the talon running good, sell it. Then put the extra money that you just made into the colt. Just my two cents, but good buy. |

There very crappy cuz it wont stop snowing. I will get some more shots of engine bay and interior when it melts lol the intercooler is MUCH bigger then apears in the picture. a pic of the 1Gb rear end on a 1Ga body. Car has following mods. I got it for $800 cuz the timing belt skipped teeth and bent the valves. |
