I bought my 1989 Mirage turbo two days ago and I must say I love it! 201k on it came complete with a siezed 11b and a pass rear window shattered. Within one day it had a ported 2g manifold 1g o2 housing and 14b installed. It also has some slight front end damage, it needs a grille, hood, and headlights. I will get more into repairs soon but hey I just licensed it today give me a little time.

Second I have a 1991 Mitsu Eclipse fwd turbo. After far to much labor now it is all stock aside from a CFDF. In its day It was a small 16g car that ran a best of 12.8@116 on 92 oct and slicks.

Third my Girlfriends 1995 Awd Talon. 6 bolt bottem end with a built 2g head ACT flywheel/2900 combo DSMlink 780's large fmic 3" stainless turbo back Fp3065. Her daily driver.

Fourth my baby. 1991 Eagle Talon awd built 2.0l Aem Ems 1000cc injectors twin buschur modded 255 pumps in tank Magnus intake gt42r much much more. Its a garage queen until the manifold is finished.;

Glad to be a part of 4g61t.org and look forward to chatting with you guys.

Bryan

Welcome to the forum. We'd definitely like to see some pics of the mirage and i'm sure Flying Eagle would LOVE to have your vin #. I'm just waiting for the day that you gut the gt42r AWD eclipse and dump it into the mirage...... :twisted:

We are thinking of putting a slightly larger turbo on the girlfriends 2g, appearantly an fp3065 isnt quite doing it for her :o If that happens the Mirage will get the fp3065. I already have a 6 bolt 4g63 swap including the dsm fwd trans and clutch. so there will be another 2.0l Csm on here in a month or so. I will burn a chip real quick for the 2g mass and 550's. I am hopeing the get this into the 11's on a small turbo but we will see. Oh anyone here having good luck with a phantom grip?????

Maybe it shouldn't be the car that is satisfying her size needs :) Sorry lol.

I will post pics after work. I have a 4g63t in my fwd eclipse im going to swap in the Mirage. I have a 2g mass and a Walbro 255 laying around from past projects I can toss in there. I dont plan on swapping the ecu out just burn an e931 code with some added goddies ;) Like I was saying earlier if she decides to go t-67 I will put the 3065 on it if not I have an evoIII 16g available. Just your basic build Its now my DD.

Here are some pictures of our cars..

First off, the one you've all been waiting for:

Obviously the hood and grill are a little messed up, but it's nothing that I can't fix.

The Srt-4 that the mirage is replacing (my roommate bought it):

The woman's 2g:

Yes, it is a 3065 ;)

Here is the garage queen in all her glory:

She's very upset that she's stuck wearing an FP3065 at the moment while waiting for the manifold to hang the gt42r off of -

This is the GT4202RS compared to both our FP3065's (left = mine, middle = hers)

Enjoy, :hail:
