Thanks dude. Its good to hear that kinda stuff rather than "oh dude thats farked!", keeps me going during these hard times....

I think my pride has been damaged more than my car.

cut one out of another car and have it welded on. It took me about 4 days to get my drivers side pulled out and bend and clip stuff to get atleast halfway decent looking and get everything to line up.

I've just been looking at the car (couldn't bring myself to even look at it properly yesterday, hurt too baaaad  ) and its pretty mangled, so I think you're right, cut 'n weld would be my best option.

Check your PM's.

If you're doing the work yourself PM me and I'll try to help. You'll want to drill out the spot welds holding the core support on instead of just cutting it off. Also take a good look and make sure that its just the core support that is bent. It could have pushed some other stuff back and that will have to be pulled first before you remove anything.

One of these bad boys and a sturdy tree make a great frame puller.

Unfortunately pretty much everything above the intercooler has been pushed back. I know this for a fact because my rubber intercooler pipe coming from the turbo outlet is now squashed with no room to move down by the alternator area.

I've already pulled the frame foreward a bit and chucked a spare bonnet on. Unfortunately when the frame was pulled foreward it bent even worse, but at least the bonnet closes now  The headlights no longer sit flush with the bonnet so they've been pushed in too.

I'm just gonna get it straightened up professionally and then resprayed. The 18 year old paint was starting to show its age anyway.

Got the Borgy back :D

They hadn't cleaned it but I told them not to worry. They've also sourced me a bumper indicator from somewhere so that should be arriving next week. And i'm still waiting on a grille too.

I still think the gap between the bonnet and guard looks a little too big, but its even on both sides so ...meh..
The paint is awesome, mirror finish - the pics don't do it much justice. Need to find another yellow high beam headlight :(

Heres a quick before/after
Sorry pics were taken in the rain hence the little droplets

Which gap are you talking about? The one between the front bumper cover? and that metal strip below the headlights

Nah nah, the one between the guards and bonnet, you can see it in the last pic.

The reason for the slightly big gap between the bumper and filler panel is because I reused the old bumper iron which is slightly bent, but not bad enough to worry me...
