Hello everyone! I've searched for a while now and found this forum. It has had some pretty useful info for me so far. Glad to be part of it now as well. Here is a pic of my car: ![]() That's how it looked when I first got it. Now, the reason for the tremclad paint. On a local forum here in the city someone posted up a website of a guy that professionally paints cars and bikes with tremclad rust paint and a roller. Well this guy tried it out on my car..didn't work out so well but oh well. Mods so far. Went to junk yard and pulled a 60/40 split out of a sport model. Wanted to get a tach cluster from the car but it was already taken. Other mods are a generic cold air intake for a civic I believe. Was hard to fit but I made it work just had to remove every bit and piece of the stock intake. And my latest mod is my ractive muffler. Sounds nice n deeeeep. The car is a 1.5L 5-speed. And my favourite bit. The day I bought it, put a stereo in lol. Running 3 10's in a ported box with a huge amp. Installed all aftermarket mids n tweets as well. Also sound deadoned the entire base of the trunk and the trunk lid with one layer of peel n stick. Gotta do a second layer soon although one took the tin can sound away. Lemme know what you think! |

Well, first I need to upgrade my alternator. I'm running a hardcore riprock 500d so it appreciates extra juice. And the sound deadoning only cost me $30can to do entire trunk so I'll do 2 layers. And a sawed off exhaust did sound nice but too high pitched for my liking and too loud. And what else are you supposed to puy on a CAI? A stock square filter? LOL ![]() |

Just get yourself the needed mandrel bends for your routing and plumb you maf to that, you may have to extend the maf plug wires as well. |
