So I finally uploaded some pics of the 4G61T Excel into my Album.

Specs are as follows:

Hyundai 4G61(G4CL) block w/ ARP head studs
Hyundai head stamped "1.8L" flow-bench ported
Mitsubishi "ECI Multi" 4G63 inlet manifold port-matched
RPW bored 64mm throttle body
1G/GVR4 exhaust manifold w/ HPC Hipercoat Xtreme coating
TD05/14B turbo w/ HPC Hipercoat Xtreme coating on turbine & O2 housing
450cc "Blue" injectors
Malpassi FPR
All 3 engine mounts polyurethane
3/8" fuel line into Ford inline filter custom NPT fittings
Knife-edged crank w/ ARP mains
Shot-peened and crack tested 1G conrods w/ ARP bolts
Full "neutral balanced" bottom end
8.8:1 CR hyper-eutectic flat-top pistons w/ ceramic coated crowns and moly coated sideskirts
Tighe Stage 2/3 turbo camshafts/3G HLAs/valve-springs to suit
Remote oil filter w/ inline oil cooler
2.25" alloy IC pipes
Big-as-will-fit FMIC
Davies-Craig electric water pump w/ EWP controller
Haltech E6K ECU (MAFless)
KM206 trans (for now)
4-puck clutch w/ super HD pressure plate
Hydraulic clutch MC from Excel X2
2.5" mandrel bent SS exhaust w/ 3" dump, SS Lukey Ultraflo muffler no-cat

RPW Excel X2 "short-shifter" with conversion to cable gear change
330mm drilled/slotted DBA rotor front brakes with 2-spot PBR callipers
Full KMAC suspension inc o/size front struts, variable rate 2" lowered springs, front & rear sway bars

17" Speedy rims w/ Dunlop 205x40x17 FM901 rubber
Turbosmart Type 2 BOV

I think there's other stuff that I cant remember right now :D

Future mods are:

KM210 trans w/ Quaife ATB diff
Strut brace
More boost (currently at a piddly 5-7psi :o needs to go back to dyno)
Quicker steering rack
Autospeed DIY EBC (when it comes out!)
Adjustable coil-overs for the front

maybe one day I'll consider an AWD conversion but I think I might do that to the Lantra instead. :wink:

Ditch the fancy rims though and go for the sleeper look. :)

heh, yes well I didn't really want to go for 17s in any case except they are the only rims I could find that will fit over the front brakes!

The "look" isn't all that cohesive at the mo - I may look at a bodykit when I take it to the panel beaters for a respray (something mild tho). Its too loud for a sleeper in any case and the atmo BOV (that's what I forgot) is a dead giveaway.

They are old pics BTW - the engine bay looks alot tidier now.
