Haha, wow. Ok, let me start off by correcting you on many things. I used to hang out with a lot of turbo dodge nuts. I'd be very interested to see this book you're referring to...

T1 = Turbo, Non-Intercooled SOHC

T2 = Turbo, Intercooled SOHC

T3 = Turbo, Intercooled DOHC

T4 = VNT Turbo, Intercooled SOHC

Shelby Charger GLHS's got the T2 motor, not the T1 motor. They were most definitely intercooled. Same goes with the Omni GLHS. If the motor from your Shadow is non-intercooled then you got a T1. Mayyyyybe the SOHC heads were designed by Lotus, but they're certainly nothing to brag about given the fact that they're turn-around heads and use technology that's completely antiquated, even for the mid-80's. They still work, and make a lot of power, but nothing to write home about.

it's definately a turbo 1 motor....it's a 2.5 mpfi 2.5t's were turbo 1

my car is a 91 sohc 2.5 turbo I non-intercooled....are gonna try to argue a fact the 2.2t in 91 was a dual cam motor and it was intercooled

i'll actually scan the article about the lotus head designs and such, sorry my bad my motor was only in my car for the convertibles in 2.5 form but in 2.2 they were in the lancer ITHINK dont quote me on that tho

yes i painted the car pink, slow1g wonders why i dont come to this page anymore...the pink colt is no longer up for discussion
