We don't own the SVX anymore. My husband was enamored with them (and still is), but when you daily drove one, it was like owning a dsm. Always had something wrong with it.

One time some of the lights burned out it the dash. They were a special bulb and it cost $700 to buy all the burned out ones. This didn't cover labor for install either. The windshield cracked one winter and we found out it was a dealer only option. It cost $1500 for a new one.

It always ran great, just something like the wheel bearings going out or the infamous tranny issues. The car was fast as hell with lots of torque.

He would still own one if they weren't so expensive to fix. His had been sitting at my mom's house for a year when I came home with the red mirage. I told him either sell the svx or drive it and I'll keep the mirage for myself.

Come to think of it, we don't own any of those cars in that pic anymore. I do a lot of buying, fixing and selling. So the cars come and go.

And Calvin Ng, I'm not painting the red one blue. It's too original to do that. I have a white turbo mirage that I'm currently converting to AWD and hope to have up and running by this race season which is coming quickly.
