hey all

sorry i have been really busy. its going to be 13-14 I have the days off and am ready for the meet.

so now its into the events:

If everyone can please tell me if they can bring food and what type of food they can bring. so i can get sorted out whos bringing what and so on.

so far I have:
meet up
shoot the shit
eat
cruise
???

the reason why it is 13-14 because anyone coming from the states can come on down the 13 and we can sort something out. the 14 will be the real meet day where everyone can meet up around 9-10 or whenever but the bbq is going to be for lunch.

so as of today the date is set and there will be no changes everyone just have to give me a idea o what they are brining. oh and someone has to volunteer to take me in there car during the cruise since i dont have a car to drive :>.

Thanks

Jeff

( I will have pics of the meet area tonight or tomorrow)

So can I assume my american arse can stay until the 15th? Spending the night then driving back in the morning would be a good thing.

Sum it up:
13th: Drive up, spend night
14th: Get stupid with the boooooooost
15th: go home

Or should I drag my butt back here on the 14th?

I'm definately in for Saturday, maybe Friday as well. I'll probably just show up in the morning though.

I will bring food and some beers. Anyone else eat veggie burgers or is it just me?

I haven't decided whether I'm going to take the Beastly Blue Mirage or the Mighty Purple Summit yet. The Summit still has some work to go before it's roadworthy.

If you need a link that shows you where to go from the 401 while heading from North East to South West (Ottawa to Brantford) this link will show you inner city directions to Jeff's place.

PM me ... click on the blue text below.

*edit* if you are looking at the next post down I've changed to original wording in my post to better explain things.

I'm wondering if Jeff is on vacation yet cause he mentioned this in his last email coinciding with his last post up top. I hope there is room or allowability for tents cause I wouldn't mind that one; beats sleeping in a car seat reclined. Should bring the Lincoln you can almost lie fully straight across the back seat but at $50 gas just to get me to the close side of T.O. from Ottawa; I don't think so!

Okay I guess everyone will show up and they either have food or they whine that they couldn't afford it and we punch them repeatedly in one spot in the arm until they cave and buy some Twinkies for everyone. (I'm not suggesting we have a wrestling match but I think everyone understands).

So, in summation we need little bit of everything from this list to make things go smoothly (suggested);

Breakfast food - granola bars or everyone goes to a restaurant for some digs on Saturday if you are there already .... Saturday travellers need not apply 8)
Salad - leafy greens, tomatoes, cucumbers
Hamburger buns, Hamburgers (meat or veggie)
Hot Dog buns, Hot Dogs (meat of veggie)
Steak (no veggie option there :P )
Taco kits - can buy meat or whatever in town on Saturday.
Trail mix - sounds like we're all going camping for a weekend doesn't it!
Sandwiches - PB+J, Daggwood or anything you can think of ...

Drinks - pop, beer, water (yes a body made of almost 75% water needs to drink some of this!), juice - Tang, Koolaid

Hope this gets the juices in the brain flowing,
Tim

Hello all

I am back from vacation.

Now that i am back, I dont care if no one wants to have bbq we can all go for a cruise and then mabye out for food. I will be getting a ride with paul, so I am set. If no one wants to bring food that is fine we will all just take over a fast food joint. now about this camping thing, I dont think the city will take nicely to people camping on there property but we dont care so if u really really need to camp u can camp out across the street at the meet point. So basically we arelooking at a saturday meet. friday is more or less for U.S.A people. Which appears to be just paul.

so everyone can just let me know.

Thanks

Jeff

I'm trying to get my brakes upgraded too.... I hope I can get it all working in time. If I can't do that I hope I will at least have the GVR4 on the road by then.

I should have all the parts real soon, I'm missing the PS rack, one knuckle and a rotor.
