Yeah Capt Howdy, like your suggestion as London is 4 1/2 hrs from here . BUT-might be able to make it as I'll be in Shelburne for niece's wedding Friday and will stay @ parents in Uxbridge overnite then ship the wife and kids off to ontario place for sat while I play with the boys(if the colt makes it, can't cruise over 140 klicks as the a/f takes a nosedive into extreme lean)
BTW Jeff, wow is the meet place isolated or ...? Maybe a corner of a mall pking lot would be good as well since refreshments would be close by. But props for setting something up!
Unrelated, but went to yorkdale mall in T.O. for DSM meet past sat. Twenty or so cars showed up and of course one colt, which surprised a few people, but was mainy there to support 3 local lads that went up and it went well.

The meet looks bad for Luka and I, we just moved and the colt is causing alot of problems. We're trying our hardest to get it rolling, but now i have to buy an SAFC so i pass emmissions and do some suspension, light and interior work to pass safety, i need fake certificates hard core.

Go to a Chrysler dealer and get a paper stating that engine wasn't factory installed and then take it to drive clean and get it tested as a hot rod, less stringent spec;s. Worked for me.
Also I have new safc in box if your interested.
BTW if you have insurance, you can get a temporary 15 day permit.

Do you have a SAFCII? did your rates go up because you have a "hot rod"?

My rates did't go up 'cause no one other than drive clean see's it as a 'hot rod'.
It robably is a safc-ll, just bought it last year, but I'll check for sure.

I'd be interested, but I don't see a location. What part of Canada? Anywhere near Syracuse?

Okay here's the dilly VWDSMGUY;

You're headed for Brantford, Syracuse isn't too bad, just go left on the map! Just zoom out to get an idea of where Niagara Falls is.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?se ... it=Get+Map

If your headed down let Jeff know and or PM me like the big letter post said and he/I will get you the address via mapquest directions. You plug in yours and his and viola you've got door to door service assuming no one way streest! There should be a 93 Elantra 16V for us to rip through, I need pit crew people to rip this thing apart. More details to come ....

Tim

Alright so I mail out a money order to dude in Hamilton with the Elantra 16V; now I have a dilemna. I can either come down early and tow the car to Jeff's "across the street spot"(assuming Berserko doesn't need to be there to use his tow miles) and rip into the thing early with no real time constraints, or I can just do it all at once the Friday night [tow it] and have the car there and sitting, ready to be stripped by the boys [only problem with one trip to do this is how much of another car can I safely carry! ] I'll also be taking the rim and tire combos because I need the 14" setup to clear the Elantra brakes that was my intent for purchasing the car in the first place.

I'm gonna have one full car either way, that's for sure.

6 days to the meet and counting down! 8, 7, 6, ... 8)

Tim

Tim,

Yes I need to be there for some tow miles. Actually its my GF that needs to be there. Please contact me so we can work something out. What all is being raped never know I might want some left overs because they are my tow miles :) Do you need really crusty rims to go back on the Elantra? or is it getting flat bedded away? What about tools? Do I need to bring my baby compressor and an impact gun or what? let me know

Thanks
