Galant VR4 had the 90 amp option for the alternator. Check Rockauto for availability. WorldPac has 2 year warranty on their Bosch models that I have posted about in my build thread, and roadside assistance should it fail. If using this with a turbo setup and 02 housing nearby the alternator, it must be shielded with at least one layer of shielding if not a wrap and a shield, or relocate the alternator the rear of the motor and have no chance of using AC.
The best alternators with Mitsu design are genuine Mitsubishi with Mitsu internals, but using the GM alternators is a very viable solution but requires a little modification to make them work.

if your planning on running lots of electrical accessories, a welder, stereo, sound systems, mister fusion/hover conversion  etc. [and you still are running the 4G15 motor] you can swap in the 130 amp Mitsubishi unit, Its not a really hard swap, but you need to add a voltage regulator from an old school 80's dodge d150 pickup, and it's wire pigtail [both commonly available at most parts stores on the shelve] also a slightly longer drive belt was needed. i'm running this setup on my Mirage with great results so far idle is about 15 1/2 volts and it never dips below 14 volts, even with all accessories on, If you want all the specs and part numbers or help getting it all setup let me know, I kept all the documentation on the swap and if you guys want me to do a "how to post" let me know.

I can't remember what car the 130 amp mitsu alternator came from, but I pulled 2 of them, so I'll post that info if I can find anything from the numbers on the unit.

Also if you run a galant vr4 or dsm alternator unit [on a 4G15 motor] you need to add spacers on the lower leg of the alternator since it is wider then the 4G15 alternator.

Here is the interchange info in case you guys like going to the wrecking yards to find parts.
Make / Model / Years
CHRYSLER 300M 1999-2001
CHRYSLER CONCORDE 1998-2001
CHRYSLER LHS 1999-2001
DODGE INTREPID 1998-2001
PLYMOUTH PROWLER 1999-2000  like you will find one of these out there.

This unit wont bolt up to a dsm without modifying it a bit more.

and again this alternator needs an external regulator added, but that might be what makes things more reliable I have had no issues since the swap, my old 1 blew out every other 8 or so months, this one has been going strong for about a year now.

I know it might look like it, but It's not internally regulated, on most all 1999-2001 Chrysler cars It is externally regulated by the PCM [power-train control module], but I got mine working with the external regulator from a 70's-80"s dodge d150.

Also I needed to add a few washers, and spacers to get it to bolt snuggly to the 4G15 motor and I needed to use a longer lower bolt then the stock 4g15 alternator bolt. it is a kinda a tight fit, but It does work vary well.
