Wire separators are quite hard to find these days.

JNZ can get them for you, and they won't be too expensive.

I have a cluster at home.

It reads high in KM's but "should" work.

It is an AUSSIE cluster, that I took the gauge faces from OR that I made work with my stock cluster, because I wanted the faces from it (Grey 240km 9k redline).
The needles from your stock cluster would need to be reused ... which if you don't have a tach, would mean you need one more long needle.

PM me if you are interested.

With the build date listed on the cluster, it should be the Aussie unit I ordered in.
I suspect this should work properly with your MPH cluster guts ... if you have the 145 cluster guts already.
I never installed the unit as is, so I never tested it, but it was pulled from a car and was said to be working.
It have everything inside it to work with any Colt/Mirage/Summit and read the higher speeds and RPM's. I just can't confirm the operation at this time. The reason that I ask if you have an original C53A cluster.

What was wrong with your original cluster?

Mr, Eagle,

Thank you for your response. I bought the car with a non turbo (no tachometer) cluster installed and hacked up at that.. I was told by previous owner (a good friend) that the tach just stopped working so he had hopes of retrofitting an autometer monster tach into it..I believe he may have the tach needle but he has not gotten back to me just yet..
Thank you so much, I will keep you updated..

Pete

The above cluster is still available if you are interested. Just needs a needle for the tach.

I have one needle that I am currently using for my speedo. Does the cluster you have still have one needle in it? Even if I were to use a painted toothpick system its better then what I have now..

The pictures above are the actual cluster in question, so yes it has the speedo needle in place; you would need a tach needle, likely the same part ... so transerable from different clusters in the same family ... almost 100% it would.

Ok. Did you take the gauge faces off the cluster? Right now all i have is the lowly base colt cluster so the only thing i can swap over is one needle

Yes the cluster cover and needles did come off. To swap gauge face plates, the needles have to be removed and replaced. Tricky process everyone has to go through unless you get a complete Summit GS or overseas cluster.
