I need a few miscellaneous parts from a 1g cylinder head to finish up an engine I'm working on. Here's what I need:
  • Cam Gears
  • Cam Cap Bolts
  • Head Jacket Plugs
  • Fuel Rail Spacers
  • Fuel Rail Bolts
  • #1 Intake Cam Cap (or a set of Cam Caps from a bad head)
  • Intake Manifold Bolts/Nut
  • Cam Gear Bolts
The damn machine shop (whose name I will not mention as I do respect their work and mistakes happen) lost one of my cam caps so I need either the #1 Intake cam cap (closest cam cap to the cam gear) or I'd even take a set of good cam caps from a useless head. This way they can line bore to ensure I have no issues with the cam binding. PM me if you have these parts. Thanks in advance!

I've got your cam gears (if 2g ones are ok with you)
Fuel injector rail spacers
Cam cap ( intake 1 )
Cam cap bolts.

Sorry I don't have time tonight to look for the other bolts. It's hit and miss on hardware at my place. :)

From what I have gathered over the years you can't just slap on another cam cap from a different head. I would make the machine shop pay you for another head.

I am aware of this, but have read of cases where people had success. I am going to talk with the machine shop today about buying me another head and see if they'll work with me. Talk about a PITA!

I have it all if you want to go that way. I have done it on a head that had 1 bad end cam cap it has been working just fine for 6 years now .
