Selling off all my CSM and DSM parts I've accumulated over the years, and here's yet another one. I have Jack's Transmission rebuilt F5M33 with Quaife LSD with 1k miles of light street use. I purchased this 7 years ago, and never ended up running it in any of my Colts. This is a 1993 model year F5M33, and the Quaife is a 25 spline unit (I never verified this but will). I planned to keep it for when I found a mint Colt that I'd build, but I don't see that happening within the next couple years. Besides, I'm more interested in the AWD swap so the FWD trans would just continue to sit boxed up. I have all of the original paperwork for this transmission, and can provide this to serious buyers. I also verified this build with Jack Magee before I purchased it. The transmission had a basic rebuild with the following upgrades:
  • Quaife LSD (25 spline count
  • Double Synchro 1-4
  • Internal oil filter and magnet
  • EVO3 5th gear upgrade
  • Upgraded shift forks
  • All associated parts
It is well setup for a street car, especially one setup for taking turns opposed to straight lines. Cost of the rebuild was $1700+ alone, and the Quaife ran another $1k; not to mention, an F5M33 usually runs around $200-$300 depending on condition. I'd like to get $1750/obo for the transmission plus actual shipping. The pics I have right now are not that great, and I will get updated pics this week when I run to storage. Pics can be found at the following link:

Deal of the year, right here guys!!!

My diff install cost me over $1400 CDN alone, for this exact same setup.
Evo 5th gear upgrade is pretty much no longer on the shelves, and is expensive.

As Chris said, this is THE fwd transmission for our stock chassis/upgraded engine /turbo setup.

All of the Evo 3 trans parts are NLA. Went end of life a while back. So your getting a little piece of history that can't be had easily any more!

Damn i wish i had money...lol

i know moulin13 has a fwd that he is getting faster and faster with. He has mentioned wanting to stay fwd and also
wanting/needing lsd for traction. Its a fair amount of money for someone to have saved up but i would love to see it go to him as i like watching his build.

try contacting him?
