What is the dark stained area below the molding on the passengers side?

What doesn't work in the car? Is the A/C still good? I see that the kick plate on the passenger side floor board is missing, has the computer been changed/modified?

Must have been a sticker, it's just sticky residue.

A/C worked last summer, likely needs a recharge/new orings. Everything is there and intact.

I rebuilt the original computer. I think the kick plate is still around, just wasn't put back in.

One of the best cars to come across the board in a while. This would be a great project to do a mini restore on and just drive around like it did in '89.
