Yes, a FREE Dodge Colt. It's been sitting in my backyard for over 10 years and it's a mess. We were the original owners and it has 210K miles on it I think (it's been over 10 years). Tried to do a 4g63t swap but lost interest and couldn't get parts back then to finish the job. Want to deal with someone in Missouri or a touching state. I will not ship. Not going to deal with anyone who hasn't been here at least 2 years. No stupid questions, please.
Car was originally silver, but was painted 2-tone silver top, black bottom. Had 12v 4g15 but now has a 4g63t with a turbo Colt 5-speed tranny. Engine is a 6 bolt and has the proper engine mounts. Dash is ripped apart and in the back. Not sure which harness is inside. No CV axles. I have a box of rear disc conversion parts from Gage (RIP) in storage I can dig out. Missing the right fender, turn signal lens, and the bumper filler piece is damaged on the right side. I left the harness holes open for a long time and rats/mice got inside and pooped all over the floor. It doesn't smell that bad (really, it doesn't). No exhaust. Clean title. Brand new tires that are probably flat and dry rotted. Wheels are steel. Has most of the stuff under hood like the steering rack (manual), radiator, brake booster. Car never came with AC. I've had multiple Mitsubishis since then so I've raped parts off of it. It's missing the turbo and manifold I know for sure. Has both left and right side view manual mirrors. No power anything. Has the rear windshield wiper. Originally came with a rear defroster, but my dad decided to go cheap on the replacement (vandalism) and got a plain window.
So, why am I getting rid of this jewel? Well, tired of it sitting there and I can't bring myself to take it to the scrappers and crush my dad's car. I've built up a bit of Mitsubishi knowledge and parts since then, but in 2001 I got my Ranger and it's pretty much been Fords ever since (85 Escort diesel, 93 Probe, 91 Ranger, 96 Sable, 89 Mustang, 99 Grand Marquis). I enjoy rear drive even though Ford does some stupid stuff in engineering.
So, yes, it's free for the taking with some caveats. You can't scrap it and you can't sell it. I want to give it to someone that can use it and perhaps rebuilt it to it's former glory, or at least use parts from it to built a better car. It's never been in an accident so the body is straight. The fender and lens is missing because when I was towing it around my house, I didn't put the e-brake on slightly and it rolled into the back of my Ranger. Like I said, Missouri or touching states only and no shipping. Don't want to have to deal with someone in Maine or California and the timing. Bring a trailer during decent weather and you have to help me get it out of my back yard. We've had flooding out here lately, so times like that aren't a good idea. Freezing with no wind is ideal now since that will be hard ground. I'll inflate the tires and I'll put a chain around the k-member and tow it out, but you steer the car. I'll give you the title, too, which is clear.
I'm sure I've forgotten a bunch of stuff and I'll post pictures when I can get out back.
