1989 Dodge Colt GT
VIN: JP3CU54Z8KU075029
Chassis Mileage: 14x,xxx
Engine Mileage: ~5-10k

The car is located in San Diego, CA.

I’ve had this car for almost 10 years, it’s the original M&S Recycling AWD Colt GT. One of (if not) the first AWD conversions on the CSM.
It’s a fully optioned Colt GT – power windows and mirrors, paint is original and faded in places – it is going on 30 years. Full interior. No AC, no power steering.

It made 480whp with the manual transmission and no nitrous.

Runs mid to high 6s at 107 in the 1/8th mile all day in 90 degree heat, hot lapping – on street tires – before slicks.

It is the definition of a sleeper, quiet and unassuming until the hammer is dropped. The exhaust cut-out keeps it near-stock quiet until it’s opened.
All the issues have been sorted out, I haven’t had to fix anything on it in several years.

God those build pictures bring back memories. I used to go through that build thread quite a bit in my newbie days and stare at the fine job he did  . I kinda figured this day would come, haven't seen you on here in quite a while. Good luck with the sale, whoever gets it will be lucky.

I'll be sad to see this one go. I can safely say that this is one of, if not THE best AWD builds in existence. Turnkey 10-second car, right here. I hope it goes to a good home.

Well I checked my Lotto tick I got on my way to MOD, and I can't afford it. Dang, I'd love to give this one a good home. I'll be watching and hoping for the best. Guess I need to right click and save all those conversion pictures again. Lost them long ago!

Like others have said, one of the cleanest CSM's in existence. AWD is just an added bonus. Hope she finds a good home that will keep her nice for years to come.

Thanks guys! I am sad to see it go, it's a special car.

I'm torn on the pizza sign, I have nothing else to put it on and it kind of belongs on the car.... That almost answers the question.

Sold locally this afternoon, it's going to a good home. It just hit me that it's gone.... I'll let the new owner reveal himself.

Words can't describe how lucky I am to be the new caretaker of this CSM. Everything said in this thread is true. Dan has done an incredible job of perfecting this Colt, it is definitely one of the cleanest in existence. I will keep the forum updated on its status but will not be making any major changes, I plan to enjoy and maintain the amazing work he has done. :prayer:
