I stumbled across a colt that had just came in yesterday at the yard and grabbed a few parts.

grey dash pad: One tiny crack maybe 1/4" long by the defrost vent that face the windshield. I doubt you'd ever see this once the dash is in. There is also another tiny crack just above the D/S AC vent beside the cluster. Again, its really faint and took me a while to find it. I doubt you'd ever notice it once installed. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. It's better than any csm dash I've seen. SOLD

Here is the crack by the ac vent, not even sure if you can see it.

are the pads easy to swap out? my whole dash is out while im building the car... but my red dash is cracked badly..was gonna just have a upholstery shop redo it b ut that would cost more than this thing... are they bolted to the main dash frame or glued?.. and shipping to 85712 az..

if its a pretty easy swap then ill take it for sure

thanks

Steve

The car was silver but somebody painted the bottom black lol. From what I remember the body was pretty trashed though.

Steve, if your dash is already out you can swap the pad in less than 30 minutes. It's a few phillips screws and a bunch of little metal tabs that go through the hard plastic dash and you bend them over to hold the pad on. Just think about the old school yellow envelopes that our report cards came in with the little metal tab at the top  .

I will get a quote for you and pm you in a few.

Chris....I have no experience with 2g parts and could use some help here. Could those quick release injector clips be used on my Colt?

Yes sir, I installed them on my colt's harness when I went through it last winter. Not that I swap injectors a lot or anything but it's nice not to have to bother with brittle plastic or those little metal clips. You simply squeeze the sides of these and pull and it slips right off. You can either cut/solder these on or de-pin the original plugs and install these. I chose the cut and solder method on mine.

Outstanding! I will take them from you, please.
