Just gonna copy and paste my CL ad, but anyone in the Louisville area interested, I'm selling my Porsche to help pay for my flywheel grinding issue in my Colt. This will need to be trailered. Spread the word.
I recently purchased an 83' Porsche 944 non-turbo as a project. The previous owner had all receipts from Porsche dealership and I now also have those. It has 86K original miles. When I bought the car it wouldn't even crank over. So far I've replaced:
battery
fuel pump
fuel filter
all 4 injectors
distributor
spark plugs
I also have a short throw shifter kit that hasn't been installed yet on the car.
It will now start and run, but it has a very choppy idle, and will die soon after starting. The exterior of the car is in beautiful, amazing shape. Absolutely zero rust. The interior is pretty much stripped, but comes with everything but the carpet, as the carpet was ruined. The windshield has been cracked over the recent hail storm. Had been garaged its entire life until my purchase. I would love to keep this car, but I am trying to run multiple projects at once and need to cut down, so the Porsche goes.
