Hey guys, I am considering swapping my GSX to auto, and therefore I am seeing if there is any interest in my manual stuff.

Trans:
TRE built many, many years ago. Still works perfect, zero shifting issues. It's a bit of a bastard trans. 2g case, 22-spline output shaft, set up for a '90 shifter, but I have been using a '91 shifter on it without any issues. Dual synchro 2nd, steel shift forks, Quaife front LSD, and that's all I know. I could have way more done to it, but that's at least what it has. Will come with a transfer case. I'd like to get $1,500

Clutch:
QuarterMaster twin-disk complete setup, been in my car for a long time, doesn't slip at all, works perfect, makes all the right noises. Comes with a modified clutch fork. $500

Sorry, don't have any pics of anything as everything is still installed in the car. Prices do NOT include shipping. I also don't have any clue how many miles are on any of this stuff, so don't even bother asking me.

:D

Damn my joblessness @ twindisc. I've been thinking about going auto awd though.

Sigh... I too need a twin disc but just got a one-month utility bill of $255... Next month won't be any better....

You'll sell this stuff at those prices for sure Tony.

Would you sell it any cheaper without the transfer case? I am guessing since the 2g case bolted up to your 1g DSM, there should be no issues bolting up to the turbo CSMs.

Do you know if there is a viscous coupler installed to split the power evenly between the front and rear wheels?

You could bolt this into a CSM just the same as a DSM, yes. The transfer case isn't really worth anything, so I was just kind of throwing it in to help the person out, in case they didn't have a 22-spline xfer case on their car.

Not sure what you mean about the viscous coupler. It's all stock, so yes, it has a viscous coupler in it. It doesn't split the power 50/50. I think you might be referring to a viscous coupling eliminator, to use the transmission in a FWD car? I do have a viscous coupling eliminator that I could include for free with the trans, but you would have to install it in the transmission. My pricing is already pretty fair on this stuff, so I'm not going to be too flexible on it.

Yes, I meant the 'viscous coupler eliminator', sorry about that. I would be running it as FWD, this is what I did on my old turbo Mirage.

If you are going to throw an eliminator in with the packaging, it sounds like an awesome deal. Keep me posted on this, I want first dibs! Any ballpark on the shipping to GA?

If you want this stuff, it's yours.

I'm not sure what the best method of shipping would be. Probably strap it on a pallet and send it greyhound, or yellow freight. UPS would probably charge at least $100-150 to ship it, if they'll even take it on account of the weight.

Let me talk to the better half about it and I will get back with you. I would say keep the transfer case to cut down on shipping weight if it helps at all. I can ship it to my work to cut down on shipping too (we get freight deliveries all of the time, UPS, FEDEX, etc).

I shipped a KM210 via UPS. It weighed 94 pounds and cost over $90. An AWD trans will weigh a bit more. The trick is making the box as small as possible with heavy items. Weight isn't the major deciding factor factory as they price based on "dimensional weight".

Yeah, I would definitely leave out the xfer case, that would help. I'm guessing the trans alone is at least 120lbs., the clutch/flywheel combo only weighs about 15lbs, if that. I would try to get it all into one box. Let me know, and perhaps we can work out a deal.

I would not need the clutch and flywheel, its a little overkill for my setup :), you can sell those separate. I will PM you tonight.
