lets start with the bad. the car needs outer tie rods soon. drvr lower ball joint replaced which i have and comes with the car. needs tires soon. tags are expired. needs alignment.does leak a little oil..what dsm doesnt..needs a tune i just finished installing all this lol. couple dings but nothing bad.. this car is in really good condition for being 23 years old. runs great and drives fine but to be perfect these items need to be addressed.

the good;
its a 1989 mitsubishi mirage factory turbo car with a 2.0L turbo 4G63 6-bolt swap with a clean title in hand. about 170xxx miles. Brand new timing belt,water pump, 3rd gen lifters, HKS 264/272 cams, and balance shafts have been eliminated. genuine hahn mhi 20g (needs rebuild) with a 7cm hot side.brand new tubular manifold and brand new copper mr.gasket manifold to head gasket o2 housing with external exhaust dump tube . evo 560 injectors brand new walbro 255 fuel pump installed by english racing,Maft translator and 3" gm mas. data logger kit.Stock KM210 turbo transmission with a Phantom grip LSD. ACT 2600 clutch, brand new master and slave cylinder, absolutely zero grinds .hands down the best shifting dsm tranny ive ever driven. both front axles have been rebuilt. the car is currently on honda accord wheels with ok tires (they will need replaced soon). brand new KYB front shocks brand new psngr front lower ball joint. autometer carbon series boost and oil pressure guages. oil pressure sandwhich plate adapter with ss line to actuator. apexi turbo timer.adjustable fuel pressure regulator with guage.turbo xs rfl BOV and boost controller.brand new honda racing aluminum half radiator with slim fan and switch routed to the cabin.custom starion front mount intercooler and piping.even still has factory spare tire brand new clarion cd player with ipod hookup hell ill even throw in my ipod with it.. im sure theres more im forgetting.

car comes with custom high temp painted red hyundai valve cover with ss hardware. original 14b turbo with j pipe and all couplers and hoses. very rare! polished hks throttle body elbow lol. brand new oilpan gasket. dejon tool blow through design uicp for use with maft and gm mas.brand new morroso battery relocation kit.crushed 1g bov. stock injectors. 1g manifold and o2 housing. and the stock radio lol. worked great before pulled.

with a good tune and said things fixed and slicks you got yourself an 11/12 sec daily driver. the power to weight ratio is insane on this thing. i hate to sell/trade it but new baby forces me too. this was gonna be my project car for life..ill get another down the road..my loss is your gain..

I am certain I have more parts, more rebuilt parts and an actual tuned car above yours. Had mine for sale for a few weeks with no bites anywhere. You bumped yours a day later. I could ask more as well, but I am realistic.

No offense even though it is how it came across. I have owned two 4g63 hatches and to be honest with a stock motor is does not make it worth anymore regardless of the displacement. People see it as stock and running, nothing in between. Your car is worth what you think it is, not what I think it is. I just want to you to be realistic and not expect to have droves of offers overnight at that price. You have to remember it is the holidays and the economy is still a little rough.

Good luck with your sale and sorry for cluttering up your thread. Just be patient. I am tagging every want to buy ad I can find and still can't get a bite. All I get are crappy trades that I don't want. I had an offer for a mitsu minivan, but I am a few years past wanting something like that.

Sucks to have a car that is 100% NOT desireable.

Forcedmirage.. You also talkin about a limited editiong of GT model hatches. So just that fact alone makes ur car worth alot more than...Biglady's if i had the cash id buy. It the color is great too....And Biglady just remember even tho ur car has more work etc and parts... Its still only has 200 horses when the 2.0 has 195hp stock. So theyre is big differences betwenn the cars... The 89 mirage is very desirable just not everybody has money now... Cuz like u said holidays.

But after that u have the Income Tax checks. So money theyre will b be patient u it will sell....

Rated horsepower and actual horsepower are two different things. And my car is likely more rare than an 89 hatch. How many 1.6L sedans have you seen, let alone an automatic? The point is our cars are not worth a damn thing. We chose the wrong cars to love.

Good luck man. I just want mine gone. I want the money more than anything. Let's hope we get these things gone in a timely manner.

Diggin the mud flaps, are those an option for these?

The price is a bit high, if I could sell my silver turbo hatch for that much I probably would in a heart beat. I ended up selling my clean 94 elantra with a 4g63t swap for $1700 tho I think you'll have the best luck around tax time Good luck and sweet car.

I've only seen the mud flaps on the turbo Mirages. I don't know if the Colts came with them or if the other models had them as an option.
