This was a little side-project I've been working on. A few years back I made one for my colt and have had some inquiry since then, so I decided to get a batch made. These add approximately ZERO horsepower to your car, and look good doing so. 8)

They are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and buffed to a polished finish.
Stainless hardware is included.

Right now I have both round and octagon styles for the steel-cap version CAS's, 1990-1993 fitment. $50.00 shipped via US mail.

Round, 90-93 fitment:

Octagon 90-93 fitment:

I also have a Round version for the "Blacktop" 94 style CAS for $55 shipped.

That also shows what you're getting...tissue paper and all...

Within a week or so, I'll have the octagon style for the blacktop sensors. Heres a teaser screen-dump shot from solidworks...

I do realize this is a forum with international members, and I may have to crank up the cost a little bit for those not in the lower 48 to help cover shipping. Be patient with me, I'll work with ya...please also realize this part won't be the deciding factor on you making it to work tomorrow morning.
I'm just a normal guy running to the post office on my lunchbreaks to do the shipping and doing customs forms might take me an extra day to sort out the details.

Let me know if you have any questions or are interested. I do paypal at pma1123@hotmail.com.
I am planning to bring whatever is left to the shootout, but for right now I'm more concerned with paying my bill at the machine shop and covering the material/fixture costs. (first come, first served)

Those are very sweet! I'm sure you'll have no problem selling them, I'd pick one up if I could keep my engine bay clean. lol

Paul,

I'll take at least a round one for the blacktop. Possibly a round for the reg CAS as well.
I'll try to get ahold of you tomorrow night to discuss.

Cool I'm glad to hear people are interested 8)
Yes, I'll definetely bring what I have to Norwalk.
The blacktop ones I ordered less of due to the extra cost of having a concentric groove cut in the backside for clearance of a standing rib on the blacktop sensors. And I didn't think that many people ran the blacktop version.
The more common ones just seal flat.

I recommend a drop of blue loctite on the screws also...
Any other questions fire away!

Can't seem to get the images to work on my computer, but if I remember the one on your car I would really like to pick one up. Hopefully I'll have extra cash by shootout!

A big THANK YOU to those that have purchased one!

I just got the blacktop CAS octagon versions done and fully polished, and they look phenomenal!!!! (IMO) Hopefully a crew of 6 bolt swapped 2G's snatch them up!

I feel like I have invested a small piece of my soul into each of these by the time they're deburred, wetsanded and polished.

Just a quick note that I'll be down at the shootout, and I'll have CAS covers down there. That also means I'm not around to ship them out till early next week, and I can't say for sure what I'll have left after Ohio.

If you're in Ohio this weekend for the shootout, feel free to look me up, I'll be at Econolodge. :drinkers:
I won't have my colt there, I put in a $200 f5m33 trans but in reality its a POS that whines and grinds, not rated for 10 hour roadtrips.

I wish I knew how and had enough money to polish my valve cover.

^sandpaper? lol. IF that is just polished aluminum then its really not expensive or hard, but the other option it chrome-like powder coat
