After selling my 1989 Colt turbo 5 years ago i am looking at getting back into one. It must be an original turbo car, swapped and modded cars would be good too. I am not looking for a fixer upper and will only entertain clean, rust free, turn key cars. PM me and let me know what you have.
Thanks

Not the cleanest, but for sale. Turn key, with more parts and stuff that you can shake a stick at. Car was raised very close to you until I bought it.

There has not been a single clean example of these cars on this side of the border in a long time.

You will never find a deal like this here again, but it needs TLC to the rear quarters, front fenders, hood, and green outside mirror.

ALL SPARE PARTS COME WITH THE CAR. JDM bumpers, manuals, HKS 264/272 cams, Mint and painted Cyclone intake (modify Eprom to use it), the list goes on as you will see in my member and for sale thread.

I cannot offer a 100% mint car, it is what it is for a 1989 that has been resurrected and maintained better than most. Time takes its toll on the body, as I have mentioned, but the underside is still bathed in undercoating.

I am flexible on price as stated in my for sale advertisement, but moving into a new house in the next few weeks means I will finally have a garage for storage again. If the car sold, I would like to see it transported via truck. I am being realistic because the transmission that was swapped in has more noise to it than the original, but no syncro issues. I think it is a gear noise noise (4th and 5th bearing type noise), but has gotten no worse or better, always clean fluid in and out (like 5 times now) - maybe someone else would not notice it, but I will not cover this up. I have had it driving for a few thousand kilometers this summer, and it has done fine except idling in extreme heat (35+ C) at a McD's fresh off a highway run for 25 minutes at 120+ KMH, AC on. Heat soak on the MAF or something, it fell flat on it's face. I shut it off and checked to see what temps were like - not overheating, just quite unresponsive. Not an issue before or since, and once it sat for 15 minutes I was back up and running. Car is a little rich at idle due to lope of cam, have an AFPR I have been piecing together to check on that status or if the EPROM ECU needs a refresh.

I could go on and on about this little car because I have had it stripped down 2 times now, but I will leave it at that. I know you have family and work obligations (assuming same occupation as when you were here more frequently), so I can attest to wanting turn key cars also. I am a Licensed Auto Tech now, so I hate taking work home or making projects for myself these days.

P.S. If you do find a nicer car (there are lots of nicer bodies from the US), just keep in mind all the extra stuff, history and support you can get with this one.
