Post subject:  1987 Yugo Gv SOLD!!

Up for sale is my 1987 Yugo Gv. It is a 4 speed manual. Has some pinhole rust in the hood lip and surface rust on the inside of the hatch lid and near rear windows.. Needs dent pulled out of the drivers door front skin and door panel has damage to the inside near speaker hole. Carb was rebuilt, new steering rack, new water pump, newer brakes, fuel pump sender, good exhaust, tires 50%,new fuel pump, wires, dist cap, fuel filter. Removed front bumper to gain access to engine but have it in good shape. Clear Wv title. 1.1 engine with 4 spd. and 90k on the body. Motor was replaced by previous owner a few years ago but had this for 2 years and only put on a few hundred miles since then. Needs two things that I can think of to drive daily, needs a passenger outer cv boot (split) and the weber carb needs fiddled with. Ive tried to find some info on the weber 32 carb that came factory on these cars but have not had much time to mess with it.

Thank You For Looking....

Richard

Damn Rich you always come up with these for sale right when I'm doing a deal with someone else. This is an awesome car for someone that knows what they're doing. I'd love to have this. Don't ask me why but I like the look of the Yugos. Except if I had it you KNOW it'd be rocking a 4G63t somehow. GLWS bud.

This thing pretty much just sits in my auto garage in my yard. I hate to see it go. Wish I could just wrap it up and put it in a corner somewhere so one day when I had the cash I could do something decent with it. Besides the inner door panel and the crease/dent in the front drivers door, its in pretty good shape for an 87. I cant seem to find out why the 2nd barrel on the carb doesnt open up all the way and causes it to bog after part throttle. I dont know anything about weber carbs.

I just keep thinking a little 4 cylinder that would rev to the moon would be great, like a built NA 4g61

Could be a secondary cam that's broken (if it has one), would cause the secondary to not open and cause it to bog like a mofo.

Looks like the linkgage is fine. It now opens up. But looks like the electric choke needs put back in. Its a little hard to start when cold but fires right up when warm. Carb still bogs a little from butterflies being removed. I have the all choke parts but is disassembled. Still needs a cv boot too on the drivers. I could put on one of the universal clamshell types, but I would prefer to pull the axle and replace it. I dont want to F with it.

New winter price $800. Come get this beast.
