Mecha - did you fill out those customs forms or did the customs officer fill them out when you got there?

I had to fill them out at the customs office. Either have a copy of the shipping notices sent to you or stop at the shipping company and get all the shipping forms (what I did), then copy the info over onto the customs forms at the customs office. It would be easiest if you had an invoice saying that you bought all the parts for personal use otherwise they might try to slap on some kind of reseller tax. It was only a few lines like name/address/number/contents of box/marked for personal use/etc on the forms and then they stamp it as ok'd and then back to the shipping company, show the ok'd slip and haul it away. I didn't have an invoice for my last box so they had to open it which could only be done at their special bonded warehouse, cost me a $30 inspection fee and $50 to ship it to that warehouse from the other place.

DISPATCHED - 1 piece setup in ORDT8661 was dispatched on AMERICAN AIRLINES TRUCK number 8661 scheduled to depart ORD on 06-02-10 at 10:00 PM and scheduled to arrive MKE on 06-03-10 at 6:00 AM.
