Yeah, tact is sometimes lost in this world of ours. You cross post (assuming that was done here, maybe not, just for sake of convo), and it sells somewhere and you feel no need to update the process all around.

It's kinda like selling something in a store; once it is gone, no need to tell someone, right?

Still, manners and tact. They are a beautiful thing to still see happening these days.

We sold a 94 Celica GT on craigslist about a month ago. I edited the ad as soon as it was gone and put SOLD in bold letters in the title. I bet I've had a dozen calls about it since  . Guess I should have deleted it but oh well. So sometimes even marking a car sold doesn't work.

In the sellers defense, he is very busy with work so he doesn't have much time to visit the forum. He is a good guy that was very upfront with everything about the car with me. Sorry to those that missed out. I pm'd the seller almost immediately about the car, and happened to be going to atlanta for vacation this past week so it just ended up being good timing and some luck that I ended up with it. Car is quite clean, but not without it's flaws. I'll post some pics when I get back home to Michigan.

He posted his car for sale and it looks like it sold the first day. So he forgot to update the listing, big deal. People get busy and the buyer even said this guy works a lot.
