Apartment life does not have it's perks when it comes to extra vehicles. Looking to see if there is a competent user here, whether they be in Canada (easiest) or the US (paperwork involved in border crossing the car permanently), to sell the car to.

Asking 5000k <- Realistically, no need to call me on this as this is my asking price, I've spent over 2.5/3k just in the past year and more than likely over 4k in the past two years. Car was acquired for 2.5K originally. Bumper from France alone cost me pennies shy of 1K with all the extra parts, landed to the airport here in town.
PLEASE SEND REASONABLE OFFER REQUESTS VIA PM, I WILL GET BACK TO YOU SHORTLY.

The goods:

1989 Plymouth Colt C53A acquired 2004/5 near 182,000 km's and now sits somewhere up near 195/6k?

One owner car before I got it. Lived in Ontario it's whole life. Heavily rust proofed by first owner, reason the undercarriage is so great looking and still coated.
PO and his family were/are members here still I believe. I've kept the car in good hands so far, and would ideally see it changes to another set of good hands. I have 120-130 of these cars catalogued in the VIN REGISTRY that I run, out of the roughly 1500 cars that saw North American shoes in 1989.

Passed Ontario Emissions standards summer 2010 - tested as Hod Rod due to 2.0l block installed.
This car can be passed for another Ontario Emission test if buyer is living in Ontario in a driveclean zone, anyone else outside of these zones will not require a Drive Clean Emission pass/certificate. Consumers in BC, Ontario and maybe a few other places in Canada have the emissions tests, so if you are responsible for a test in that province when the car were to arrive, I cannot guarantee that the car will pass at idle the way it is setup right now, as the idle circuit has trouble keeping up with the regrind cams and lopey idle. Once the idle is brought up off the IAC circuit control point, it passes with flying colors. :D The car meets the 1980 Modified Block status for the Ontario emissions program, and I can get it through another test for you without hassle if you are registering in TO, or Ottawa, or any area that has Emission test requirements in Ontario, the ministry just needs the paperwork in hand for the ownership transfer. I live two minutes from the local Ministry of Transportation office, so if you are purchasing the car for use in Ontario all the better and easier. I can also guarantee that this car will pass a Safety inspection, as I can provide that as well. The hole in the engine bay sheet metal will need to be patched to conform to minimum standard though, just so people are aware of that.

Spare parts:
Original 4g61t motor - complete, no factory turbo or manifold, in pieces and crank already polished and flywheel machined.

NEW/USED Factory front calipers and brackets to replace the old calipers with seizing top slider pins - installed spring 2011, Full brake service spring 2011.
NEW inner steering rack tie rods - sent from Australia - hope these fit, were for this application according to sender
Sunroof conversion -appears similar to other units installed in US by dealers - resealed by me at one point
NEW ACC carpetting - dark grey so not dark silver as original - enough spare material to make floor mats to match, or almost another floor pan
Restitched front seats and washed covers - fishing line repair and foam repair on side lower bolsters
Door cards do not have speaker cut outs but they are in the door itself - junk yard replacements, matching color
Shifter boot now has new cover, with red sections of leather - black red combination, old unit in box
Kid seat tether bolt added at center tailgate location - easily removable but a great tie down piece
Cruise control system in full duplicate and 2 ECU's to match, system will not engage, so bought alot to fix it with but never diagnosed it - could be a simple repair but I covered all the bases - not the vacuum hose setup like a DSM
Custom timing gear holding tool from, "91talonharv", just arrived spring 2010

Bosch factory plug in alarm unit of some sort - cannot find any reference to it on the internet. Never had a problem with it, but this means it is old I assume.

Best parts of the car:

Great pickup with the 14b, both down low and highway
Chipped for 91 but run 94 Sunoco octane 90% of the time
Flushed all brake fluids Spring 2011
Never left me stranded to this point.
Dash pad has 1 tiny crack in it - uncracked spare from France to go with car, matching color
Looks good, sits low, sounds mean, lots of undercoating on the carriage and other spots - saved all spots other than those listed from surface rust

The things I would consider TLC to get the car 100 %:

Wide Band 02 sensor and control unit
90 Eprom with no damage to circuit board - this one was resurrected years ago now by Jeff
Inner tie rod ends -supplied
Muffler finally has lots of holes in it - sounds good though ..... still quiet but recommend changing it out as the weld to the inlet/outet are corroding loose and they are what holds the muffler up, won't fall off any time soon though
Rust at wiper arm hole on tailgate, rear wheel wells, front fenders (new units at $150 per side is a good deal), RF strut tower to side fender frame area - spot that will require a good patch and thankfully won't look out of place once welded in
It would appear the PO tried to take the rear struts out without getting the rear axle far enough down - dings on inside of LR fender require a little painless dent repair
1 "Daewoo Leganza green" mirror housing - saved from an original GT out of the southern US states - needs to be sanded and painted silver to match
Leak at front windshield under heavier rains when parked uphill - reason I tore out the carpet and rust prepped the floor - suspect small hole
Dent on front hood pictured, appears that PO had someones ass planted there - not rusted, just looks humourous

Just about every bolt has been removed, cleaned, replaced or otherwise cared from while the car was down for pretty much 2 overhauls.
Brake system such as rotors, pads, bearings all changed 2006 except rear bearings.
Folder with every single receipt, emission test, etc, for everything that has been worked for this car. All work performed by myself. I built this car to be safe and comfortable and it is.

Car and all parts will go in one shot deal.

I will still have a car to drive and keep my little one safe with, but I am seriously considering the acquisition of a 4x4 VW/Bombardier Iltis. I was taught to drive standard on these little cars/trucks, and have the itch to get one now that I have zero urge to ever be a part of the military again. I feel it is only fair to ask a good price for my car because of all that it has in it, and the extras that will also come with it. When and if I move into getting an Iltis, I want a turn key affair and do not want to be modding it like I had to with the Colt. The Colt is a finished project from my perspective, but that is only because I have lost interest in the body restoration, for the spots listed above. I am now a licensed Automotive Technician and need to put my efforts to better use for my son, as I have been doing since I became a single father. Hoping the car finds a good home with an enthusiast, time will tell with the applications received.

CASH preferred, willing to work with US buyers to help to get them the paperwork they need, but most of it will be the paperwork needed to cross back onto the American side with the car (buyers responsibility to find this out), and it's spare parts. Car is insured and driving as of today, just need to get a bolt up into the 02 housing to exhaust downpipe flange, last part of the rebuild for this season on the road. Figures an M12 x 1.25 is hard to find! I may just run a smaller bolt and lock washer combination though, with a new solid metal gasket from RTMRacing.

That is everything I can think of that relates to the car, I am sure there is more, and there is probably a bunch more parts that are ready to send with the new owner too. Not a sad day, just cannot park and pay for two spare cars. 8) Besides the new owner will have enough spare parts to build another turbo swapped car, or sell off to members who could really use them for their cars, and possible restorations.

Yeah, Ian if you add your city/province/country that would be great because it is one of those base rules for all of us.

After that we're easy to get along with I promise.

Yes, car is up for sale but for all the right reasons. I have built it and now run it. I have enjoyed it for a long time but don't have the proper space to keep it out of the elements and to
finish the body work the way it should be to keep it alive for a long time to come. Pics are down until the gallery is up and running, but I have just finished swapping in the matching B&G Colt specific drops springs in the rear and it now sits flat. There is a little clunking now, so what changed I am not sure till it gets up on the hoist again. Times are busy and I would rather focus on my personal life for me and my son. We both enjoy the car and it now has the AC working so we both enjoy it that much more! It would be sad to see it go, but think of how much space I would have at work (bumper in a box), home (motor and pieces in plastic crates), and my brother's family's place (shed and garage) once I get rid of all the spare wheels, parts and so on and so forth. I want to get my life back to where it should be for how I want to live as a Trades Person right now. Work at work, no work at home. 8)
