Honestly guys if this had not sold here (which I knew it would) it would be in my driveway right now getting a manual 5 speed hydraulic swap or maybe another auto for my wife to drive. Her 02 Lancer is in pretty bad shape now. It's got 175,000 miles on it and while the transmission is amazingly still shifting smoothly and consistantly the engine had developed a miss (probably due to the fact that the CEL is on and emitting a code for the catalytic converter) and I believe the plugs are in need of replacement. It also has an exhaust leak which I believe to be due to a faulty gasket somewhere and a bad axle vibration on the driver's side at speed. I have replaced the wheel bearings on both sides three times so far and all four struts. The engine had to be torn down and the head replaced due to a snapped timing belt at 107,000 miles and my wife (not knowing a damn thing about cars) kept cranking it after it stalled and bent EVERY valve in the head. So I removed the head and replaced it with a complete head from a 01 Mirage (4G93 1.8L SOHC) and replaced the timing belt and it ran great...for about ten minutes before the timing belt slipped again and bent 4 valves in the new head. I took that head back and got another one and put it on and it's been going strong ever since. But it's definitely time to replace the belt again. Anyway, the buyer got a great car with 54,000 miles on it, cold AC, power steering, and a really nice car all around.
