The cables are adjustable and it goes into gear just fine the way it is. I believe the synchros are already bad from before I got the car and probably before Karl got the parts car. I am guessing the last bit because he only drove the car once or twice when he did the swap. I do remember him saying the he used the DSM transmission, the DSM shifter arms, the DSM shifter linkages, and Colt shifter. With the car off or running but not moving the car changes gear without issue what so ever. The only issue arises when downshifting it grinds second and first if you are going more than 5 or 10 mph for second gear, and moving at all for first gear.
I drained and added fluid (seemed low when I drained) and fluid was leaking pretty bad afterwards. It looks like it is coming from the input shaft. It is somehow making it all the way to the passenger side wheel though which I am not sure how. I am trying to find a new trans at the moment. I think I found one about an hour away says it was rebuilt for 500hp by previous owner and has less than 7k miles...so I will see how that goes...I also managed to lose the BISS screw while driving...that was fun. Had to jam a wire nut in the hole and keep it out of boost until I got home. Thankfully was only couple miles away.
